I am an environmental biologist, currently based in Kerala (India), working on different aspects of environmental issues on a voluntary basis. I have been in love with English literature for over 2 1/2 decades. For nearly the same duration, I have written (and still write) poems, short stories, and essays- ambitious plans of various novels have been shelved for a while given my need to prioritise my research. Yet, I always find time to read books of almost any genre (mostly in English; some in French) and to enlarge my personal library. Some reviews may also end up in this blog.
I am also a Senior Member of St Anne's, Oxford, and I support the Dark Blue in the Boat Race.
